FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: during shaft rotation of turbine machine rotor the turbine machine operation is terminated, the turning gear is connected with the rotor to rotate the rotor around the turbine machine axis, the rotor is stayed for cooling, then the rotor is rotated by the turning gear during the rotor cooling. Wherein force or torque applied to the rotor by means the rotor turning gear, and/or speed of rotation of rotor surface during the shaft rotation are determined. Buckling or balance violation of the rotor occurred due to the non-uniform temperature distribution on the rotor during cooling are reduced by means of the rotor rotation control by the turning gear depending on determined force or torque, and/or speed of rotation of the surface. Another invention of the group relates to the turning gear to implement the said method comprising the control box, made with possibility of signals reception from the speed sensor and/or drive of the turning gear. One more invention relates to the gas turbine containing the above described turning gear.
EFFECT: group of inventions reduces buckling of the turbine machine rotor occurred due to non-uniform heat distribution during cooling.
