FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: steam turbine engineering, specifically shaft turning devices of a steam turbine. The turning engine contains an electric motor connected by a clutch to a gearbox consisting of mechanical gear stages, the last step being a gear transmission, an overrunning clutch containing a gear wheel equipped with stops with the possibility of their engagement with spring-loaded pawls located on the steam turbine rotor. The center line of the gear transmission of the last step of gearbox is shifted to the right or left relative to the vertical plane passing through the axis of rotation of the gear wheel by an angle in the range of 35-65°. The gear transmission gear of the last step of gearbox, the previous stages of the mechanical gears of the gearbox and the gear wheel of the overrunning clutch are made in a common housing. The stops are made in the form of separate removable elements connected to the gear wheel by a detachable connection.
EFFECT: increase in the operational reliability, manufacturability and maintainability of a steam turbine with a shaft turning device.
