FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: piston compressor plant is presented comprising a turbine, a piston compressor, driven by said turbine, and a reducer located between turbine and said piston compressor. Said turbine is provided with a shaft rotation device designed to provide its slow rotation during the shaft rotation mode. In this case, there is a coupling between the turbine and the compressor providing mechanical disconnection of the turbine from the piston compressor during transient operation mode of said plant.

EFFECT: improved reliability of the turbine plant in transient modes.
