FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: cassette with staples has a plurality of staples which are arranged in the cassette housing. The cassette housing has a plate facing the fabric and a plurality of protrusions extending from this plate. The cassette with staples has a plurality of recesses for the staples. Each recess has a lumen in a plate, which is at least partially surrounded by the protrusion. The protrusions may have a uniform height, or their height can be varied throughout the housing. The height of the protrusions may be varied between the proximal and distal ends of the cassette housing and (or) between the central and side portions of the cassette housing.
EFFECT: protrusions prevent or reduce the likelihood of the fabric motion relative to the cassette with staples during operation.
