SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrument-making and may be used to produce solid-state wave gyroscopes and systems of orientation and navigation on their basis. When determining the scale factor, a solid-state wave gyroscope is installed on the rotary table platform, and during operation of the gyroscope in open mode they evenly rotate the platform of the rotary table in one direction, controlling the angle of rotation of the resonator wave relative to the body of the gyroscope by the system of its angle sensors at the chosen angular interval. Then direction of the platform rotation is changed to the opposite one, and changes of angular position of the wave are measured in the selected interval, afterwards, using values of speeds of wave drift during direct and reverse rotation, they determine the scale factor with the help of an analytical expression.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased accuracy of determination of a scale factor.
