SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reading electronic documents. The electronic document reading device comprises: a wireless remote content connection for receiving remote content over a network; a physical user interface for receiving device control commands from a user; nonvolatile data memory for storing electronic document content received over said network; a screen of a nonvolatile electrophoretic display for displaying pages of said stored electronic document content; a display control processor for controlling the recording of said displayed electronic document content data on said electrophoretic display screen; an auxiliary processor and at least one contact processor, which provide touch recognition and power management functions; a power management system; and a device controller.
EFFECT: protecting electronic document content when reading electronic documents.
