SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to the means of securing of mine openings. Proposed is a device for the installation of roof support panels on top of the mine opening comprising a support frame for holding a roof support panels mounted on top of the development, a lifting device for lifting at least one of said roof support panels of the support frame, and a feeding device, for receiving said at least one of the supporting roof panels of the lifting device and its submission to the mounting device for mounting on top of the development. Wherein the lifting device comprises a shoe and at least one lever for moving the shoe ensuring its interaction with said at least one shield and moving said at least one shield. Feeding device comprises a drive assembly and a support. Wherein the drive assembly interacts with said at least one shield and moves it to the mounting fixture, and the support supports said at least one shield, the movable drive unit.

EFFECT: technical result is a simple, reliable and efficient design of means for the installation of roof support boards in mines with ensuring at the same time the safety of their work in underground conditions.
