FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method of regulation of the operating mode of a career water-removal plant includes control of working parameters of pumping units due to the change of the pressure head characteristic of the pipeline network. Regulation of the operating mode is performed by the release of a part of a water flow rate into ambient air from orifice holes in walls of delivery pipelines, and also due to the change of pressure and redistribution of the water flow rate in outlets along the length of the delivery pipelines by means of pipeline valves controlling the upstream pressure of the transit flow.

EFFECT: increase of the capacity of the pump units due to the reduction of the distance of transportation and height of lifting of a part of the flow rate of quarry waters that allows expanding the range of regulation of the quarry water-removal plant.
