FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and can be used for pumping water from open and underground mine workings. To achieve the effect, in a known method for controlling the operating mode of a dewatering installation, including periodically measuring the flow Q of the pump and changing it to reduce the specific power consumption, when measuring the flow, indirect measurements of the head H and efficiency η of the pump are additionally performed, the change in flow is carried out within the operating interval up to achievement of an operating mode with a minimum ratio of H/η, while an increase in supply is provided due to the drive power reserve by organizing the distribution of water from the discharge pipeline of the drainage installation, and to reduce the supply, the discharge pipeline is throttled. In addition, throttling of the discharge pipeline is provided for with closed openings for track water distribution.
EFFECT: application of the proposed method allows to quickly register the deviations of the current operating mode of the pumping unit from the optimal one according to the criterion of specific electricity costs H/η, makes it possible to change the flow within the operating interval, as well as increase the flow due to the organization of track distribution of water from the discharge pipeline of the dewatering installation or reduce it by throttling the discharge pipeline, which simplifies the control over the operating parameters of the pumping unit, increases safety and expands the control range.
