SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in tooth gears. Gear wheel comprises a hub, a body consists of a pair of discs fixed on the hub ends, and a gear rim composed of separate unconnected teeth, fixed by their ends between the discs and truncated by their bases, both working areas of their side surfaces are left unchanged. Teeth are made of the section strips of width equal to the width of the gear rim, bent to the shape of teeth; the external surfaces of the teeth form the surfaces identical to those of the wheel teeth.
