FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drives of driving wheels of single vehicles including wheelchairs. Wheel assembly comprises drive wheel axle hub, rim, made with internal gearing at wheel fitted on drive shaft articulated carrier with axis of drive wheel, wheel rim, on which is mounted on both sides of system of pulleys is ⊥-shaped and is connected to hub with system of double-sided pulleys, system of endless belts. Axis of drive wheel with coaxial pulleys connected at least two endless belts with coaxial pulleys on wheel rim. Axis of drive wheel can be mounted in hollow end of portal, binding two onboard drive wheels.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of wheel assembly.
