FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to drives of driving wheels of single vehicles including wheelchairs. Wheel unit comprises drive wheel axle hub, rim made with internal gearing at wheel fitted on drive shaft which is articulated via carrier with drive wheel axis. Individual onboard drive of drive shaft is pivoted on carrier of pendulum design with torsion connection with vehicle body. Peripheral part of wheel in gear and drive wheel can have pneumatic design or rolling at engagement.
EFFECT: technical result is expansion of functional capabilities of wheel assembly.
