RADAR METHOD AND DOPPLER RADAR WITH TRANSMITTER FOR IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01S13/00

Abstract RU 2580507 C2

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: in a radar method, involving generation of a probing signal by transmitter, emitting said probing signal by an antenna, receiving signal reflected from a target, frequency conversion of signal reflected from a target in first converter, to second input of which is transmitted a signal with reference frequency. Signal from first converter is transmitted to input of second converter, to second input of which is transmitted a signal with reference frequency, in a second converter performing conversion of input signal into an output signal, which is directed to transmitter. Said signal is then transmitted to antenna for transmission thereof as a probing signal, after which a closed feedback loop instantaneous change of Doppler frequency of transmitter is compensated by appropriate variation of frequency of transmitter, resulting in closing of system feedback loop formed by a transmitter, in which radiation frequency thereof is controlled. Said result is achieved also due to that radar with Doppler transmitter implementing method has an antenna, an antenna switch, a receiver, at least first and second converters, reference frequency, a search circuit and an electronic switch, configured to connect input of transmitter to output of second converter or output of search circuit. Listed components are connected to each other in a certain manner.

EFFECT: longer range, higher noise immunity and accuracy of measurement of current coordinates and parameters, excluding possibility of survey of structure of probing signal with significant simplification of circuit of radar set and corresponding reduction of size of equipment and cost thereof.
