FIELD: radar ranging.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, in particular, to methods of detecting signals reflected from objects using aircraft onboard equipment. In the method of detecting objects by an on-board detector, which comprises emitting a linear frequency-modulated (LFM) probing signal from an on-board detector through a transceiver towards the object, and then receiving the probing signal reflected from the object, based on the dynamic change in the characteristics of the reflected signal parameters, determining the object movement speed relative to the on-board detector due to the Doppler effect fd, after which LFM probing signal is switched off and correction is made to parameters of emitted f0+fd probing signal, performing Doppler effect compensation, simultaneously with reception of reflected probing signal with Doppler effect compensation transceiver with variation of magnetic fields compensation receives reflected signals and compares them with database of variations of magnetic fields accumulated beforehand in corresponding location, and, taking into account the object location height, according to deviation of reflected signals parameters and magnetic field variations, conclusion is made on the presence of the object, which introduces changes in the magnetic fields variations and generates a signal with corrected parameters of magnetic field variations, which are applied on the emitted probing signal to compensate for variation of magnetic fields.

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring current coordinates and parameters while increasing the range of action of the detector with compensation of variations of magnetic fields by increasing the potential with reducing the effect of active noise owing to narrowing the resultant pass band of the receiver, structural sensitivity only to "its" signals.
