FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ethylene copolymer obtained by polymerising ethylene and (C3-C18)-α-olefin, intended for making injection-moulded articles, such as containers for food products refrigeration containers, pipes, hollow moulded articles, articles made by centrifugal moulding or sheets. Ethylene copolymer has density 0.900-0.960 g/cm3, flow melt index (MI) 3-50 g/10 min and index of molecular weight distribution 1.98-2.21. Ethylene copolymer is characterised by low content of extract and excellent hygienic properties due to correlation between density and content of extract.
EFFECT: obtaining an ethylene copolymer with improved hygienic properties.
