FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design for presses, particularly, to forming of ceramic articles. Structure for press comprises having resistance structure consisting of at least one having resistance element containing flat ring-shaped or arched element. Inside arched element there are two opposite surfaces, diametrically opposite to each other, between which can be installed at least one power element to perform pressing action by pre-compression object or material between two bodies so that said opposite surfaces receive equal and opposite reaction pressing action. At that, at ends of said surfaces there are through slots. At that, every through slot has preset width, starts from end of corresponding opposite surface and passes along the curve, having at least first section and at least second section. Edge of outer surface of first section is connected with side surface of vertical or almost vertical part of ring-shaped or arched element, limiting sideways space to accommodate power element. Second section is connected to first section and concave in same direction as first section. Note here that through slots are located symmetrically at least relative to central vertical axis of ring-shaped or arched element, perpendicular to opposite surfaces. At that, in each through slots there is at least one plate, opposite surfaces of which are intended for contact with surfaces facing each other, limiting that through slot.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced weight and overall dimensions of design, simplified design.
