FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic material pressing equipment. Pressing device comprises top and bottom dies, at least one of which moves towards and away from the other die, as well as first and second movable belts. There is a compensator of the layer of loaded ceramic material, which contains a compensating element. Compensating element is located between the upper and lower dies to be arranged opposite to them in the zone free from the ceramic material. Thickness of compensating element is specified on the condition of providing during pressing between thrusts between punches in zone free from loaded ceramic material.
EFFECT: as a result, reduced deformation of dies in process of pressing products of smaller format.
