FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable, rubber and electrotechnical industry and can be used for production of chemical power supply sources, fuel cells, conducting rubbers and plastics. Reactor for soot producing comprises air chamber 6 axially installed raw material nozzle 1 equipped with two coaxial pipes for supply of main 4 and additional 5 flows of oxygen containing gas, fuel distributor 19, mixing chamber 7, throat bushing 10, stabilisation chamber 11, reaction chamber 12 and quenching chamber. Reaction chamber 12 comprises series-arranged reaction and activation zones. In activation zone there are radial holes 13 to oxygen-containing gas in sections located at distance in 1.0-1.6 diameters of reaction chamber, starting from stabilisation chamber. Oxygen containing gas radial flows consumption is 2-20 % of total process oxygen containing gas consumption. Additional 5 and main 4 coaxial flows of oxygen containing gas ratio is (1.8-3.6):1. Oxygen-containing gas consumption of additional 5 coaxial flow is 6-20 % of total oxygen containing gas consumption.
EFFECT: increased are soot specific adsorption surface and structural properties while maintaining high values of its electrical conductivity.
