SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying equipment and can be applied in food and feedstuff industry for drying products of vegetal and animal origin. Sublimation apparatus includes sublimation chamber, cart, trays, vacuum lines, and heat carrier. Heat carrier is microwave energy. Sublimation chamber is made in form of a rectangular microwave chamber tightly connected with box waveguide, perimeter of which coincides with perimeter of the microwave chamber, and [energy is fed] through perpendicular and opposed feed waveguides with microwave generators. Branches to vacuum-lines are installed in geometric centre of microwave chamber large sides. Trays are installed on the corners of cart, located at equal distance in height with minimum clearance to microwave chamber inner walls, and have bottom made of dielectric woven mesh, diagonal effective cross-section of each hole of which is less than the size of dried product particles.

EFFECT: use of microwave energy, design features of installation and trays allows achieving uniform product, saving specific energy consumption, and higher efficiency.
