SUBSTANCE: holder contains housing and weight assembly for damping of vibrations. Housing has opposite first and second side surfaces and upper surface extending between them, and section for fixation of cutting plate, located on front end of housing next to upper surface. Gaging opening opens to first and second side surfaces and comprises inner surface of opening. Unit of weight is located in opening for weight, comprises first and second parts of weight, damping ring located along inner surface of opening, and a drive element connecting and pushing the first and second portions of the weights from each other, such that each part of the weight exerts a pressure on the damping ring within the opening for the weight.
EFFECT: cutting tool holder with weight assembly for vibration damping is disclosed.
