SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, particularly protective devices for a pre-filled syringe. Protective device comprises a hollow housing with screw groove made on its inner surface, a support ring for fastening pre-filled syringe in bearing housing, rotating ring with a helical ledge made on its outer surface, and torsion spring. Screw groove accommodates screw crest, and after release of torsion spring is able to transmit torque to rotating ring, causing rotation of rotating ring inside bearing case, engagement of helical groove and screw crest transfers rotational motion into progressive movement of rotating ring, which support ring moves in proximal direction.

EFFECT: use of invention prevents accidental needle injury.
