SUBSTANCE: autoinjector containing: a case configured to hold a container for drugs having a needle; a needle shroud, which is telescopically coupled to the case and adapted to move between a first extended position relative to the case in which the needle is covered and a retracted position relative to the case in which the needle is exposed, and a plunger located rotationally and slidably in the case, wherein the plunger is rotatable relative to the case between the first rotational position in which the plunger is engaged with the case and the second rotational position in which the plunger is disengaged from the case, a drive spring made with the possibility of displacement of the plunger in the distal direction relative to the case. Moreover, the needle shroud during operation is connected to the plunger. Further, the plunger is made with the possibility of rotation from the first position of rotation to the second position of rotation when moving the needle shroud from the first extended position to the retracted position. Moreover, the plunger is at least partially hollow and the drive spring is at least partially located in the plunger.
