SUBSTANCE: device comprises: a housing with a proximal end and a distal end; a carrier adapted to receive a syringe; and a start button. In the first state, the start button is connected to the body and/or carrier and abuts the distal end of the housing. In the intermediate state, the housing is moved proximally relative to the carrier and the start button, at that, the start button is engaged with the carrier. In the second state, the start button and the carrier are moved proximally relative to the housing, at that, the start button is disengaged from the carrier and engaged with the housing.
