SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for disabled bedridden, postoperative persons suffering from diseases of locomotor apparatus, chairbound elderly people and people in need of periodic change of position of a body and simple physical exercises. Medical bed comprises the bed in the form of a frame with holes along the perimeter, on which there are legs, backrest, headrest and grid of bars. Backrest headrest in upper part is additionally equipped with extending towards the bed detachable and/or fixed hand grips for pulling. Ends of bars of the grid are made with return bends in the form of the tip of the fish hook, are inserted into equal orifices of the frame and form with it permanent connection.

EFFECT: availability of guardrails for tightening and reinforcement mesh to the bed frame without using welding increased convenience of use and reliability of beds in operation.
