SUBSTANCE: invention relates to accessories for ski maintenance and can be used to determine various characteristics of sliding surfaces, such as skis slip on which various lubricants (waxes, ski wax, etc) may be applied. Ski wax selection device includes a base, a power supply, control unit, measurement module, which includes a mock disc assembly couplers and locks of simulation disc, stepping motor, angular acceleration sensor, clutch torque transfer. Clutch torque transfer is made of two coaxially installed sleeves, one of which is rigidly fixed on axis of electric motor, and second is connected to simulation disc by means of attachment assembly and fixation with possibility of rotation relative to first bushing. To provide independent rotation of motor shaft and simulation disc relative to each other at an angle of more than 360 degrees on bushes are not crossing each other opposed ledges, at least on one of bushes in plane perpendicular to axis of rotation of engine is an annular groove, ensuring movement of ball between bushes along circle, in which there is a ball, besides, ledges are directed inside slot and overlap body of ball. EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of measurements and reduction of time for determining characteristics of ski wax.
