FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: optical lens comprises front and rear lenses placed in close proximity such that inner surfaces of the front and rear lenses form a cavity in between, a volume of a physiological solution and oil contained in the cavity and forming a meniscus in between, and a meniscus wall formed on the inner surface of the front lens within the cavity along which the meniscus edge moves. The meniscus wall has microchannels.
EFFECT: reducing the recovery time in a de-energised position due to the presence of microchannels.
