FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: optical lens comprises front and rear curved lenses having inner and outer curved surfaces. The front and rear curved lenses form a cavity, having a volume of physiological solution and oil, which form a meniscus in between, and a meniscus wall situated on the outer side of the front curved lens in the said cavity, through which a boundary of the liquid meniscus passes. The meniscus wall comprises the first segment having the shape of a truncated cone and being in contact with the second segment having a torus shape, the convex part of which faces the optical axis side. The lens has a channel which passes through one or both lenses and a conducting material filling the channel. The lens has a meniscus fold which serves to limit the movement of the meniscus and having a corner element for holding the volume of the physiological solution and oil.
EFFECT: improved control of the movement of the boundary of the meniscus along the meniscus wall.
