FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering and can be used in the chassis of wheelchairs to overcome the last flights of stairs in general use. An actuator for the drive of a wheelchair mounted on onboard support devices with driving wheels with electric and manual drives is proposed. Each onboard support device is a ring with a T-shaped peripheral part, which serves as a treadmill for semi-axes-rollers with a V-shaped groove of three pneumatic drive wheels equally spaced in angular relation. The wheels have an electric drive by means of a friction roller mounted on the central axis of the support device, and a manual drive in the form of a rim coaxial to the support device and with a swivel joint with semi-axes-rollers with a V-shaped groove of three pneumatic drive wheels.
EFFECT: simplification of the wheelchair drive mechanism and expansion of the functionality of the wheelchair chassis.
