FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry, namely to operation of downhole oil-field equipment. Method for operation of downhole oil-field equipment includes installation of swellable packer on equipment, filling well with liquid, in which swellable packer would not swell, centering of downhole equipment, lowering of equipment into well, replacement of well liquid by another one, in which swellable packer would swell, with liquid flow twisting along packer, packer swelling and operation of equipment with swelled packer. After replacement of well liquid, cyclic return motion of fluid is arranged with flow twisting in packer setting interval.
EFFECT: technical result is higher insulating capacity of packer.
