FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: device for operation of a formation with zones of different permeability includes a horizontal area of a production well equipped with a filter. The filter is made in the form of pipe installed outside of coaxially opened casing pipe with a gap that is divided by transverse bridges into the sections. Gaps in some sections are provided with water-swelling material. The water-swelling material is made in the form of a sleeve installed above the casing pipe opening and sealing filter in the corresponding section from the inside. The sections are made alternating with the sections communicated with them without the water-swelling sleeve. The water-swelling sleeve is made with the ability to overlap the casing pipe opening in case of watering of the extracted products above the process defined rate. The casing pipe has an inner valve that lets inside.

EFFECT: design of the device for exploitation of the formation with zones of different permeability allows to reliably cover the zone when the produced product is watered above the process defined rate, and also to eliminate the effect of the watered product from downstream zones on the swelling sleeve of upper zones and their premature overlap.
