FIELD: detection devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for detecting photons of emitted radiation source. Signal generating unit generates a detection signal indicative of energy of detected photon at a photon detecting device, and a base layer signal that is affected by photons that were previously on detection apparatus, while preventing ingress photon detection device. Displacement detecting unit detects displacement of base layer base layer of detection signal depending on signal baseline. Determination unit determines energy of detected photon energy depending on signal detection and offset baseline.
EFFECT: as baseline shift detection signal is determined by baseline signal that is generated in preventing ingress of photons on detection device, shift of base layer can be determined more accurately, resulting in improved energy determination.
