FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to X-ray imager, particularly, spectral scanners. The imager comprises an X-ray emitter of energy spectrum (P(E,t)) which continuously varies for an observation period (T), a voltage sensor unit, a detector for creating a number of m≥2 emission selection values (ik) which specify an X-ray value changed by the sensor unit of the detector for various selection intervals (Ik) within the observation period (T), and a spectrum evaluator for evaluating current energy spectrums (Fk(E)) of the X-ray emitter which are associated with m selection intervals (Ik). A method for X-ray imaging with spectral resolution consists in the use of the imager.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables higher energy resolution and simplified requirements for hardware.
