FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for examining lachrymal passages contrast agent is introduced in a patient sitting. Multispiral computer tomography is conducted. Solution of urographine 76% is used as a contrast substance which is introduced through the cannula into the lower lachrymal opening till complete filling of the lachrymal sac. Additionally spray urographine 76% into the nasal cavity.
EFFECT: method enables estimating the topographic-anatomical relations of lachrymal passages and nasal cavity as on bone and soft-tissue structures, determination of passability of lacrimal passages, eliminates distortion of true functional state of the lachrymal ducts due to exclusion of their probing, reduces analysis time.
