FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Tool consists of interconnected handle and cannula. Additionally provided with a working part made of biologically inert material and having front and rear surface. Front surface has convex shape, rear surface has a concave shape, congruent to front surface of optical intracorneal lenses. Cannula is connected to front surface of working part, for which there is a hole in working part, handle is in form of a syringe, creating a vacuum, and cannula in form of bent at an angle of 80-140° hollow tube with round or oval section with an inner diameter of 0.3-0.7 mm, maximum height of working part is of 0.5-1.0 mm. Distance from point of bending of cannula to centre of working part is 4.5-6 mm.

EFFECT: use of present invention reduces frequency of postoperative adverse visual effects, such as haloes, glare by eliminating deformation during implantation of intracorneal optical lenses in expanded form, as well as wider range of tools for implantation of intracorneal optical lenses.
