FIELD: motor car construction.

SUBSTANCE: tire tread comprises one or several main grooves extending in the tire circumference and multiple side grooves extending in the tire width between the main grooves and/or between the main groove and the tread end. Note here that the main grooves and side grooves define the number of units with at least one narrow cutout in every said unit. Every unit has the first cut out groove with one end exposed to side groove located at one side of the unit in the tire circumference and the other end terminated inside the unit. The second cut put groove has its one end exposed to the side groove arranged at the unit opposite side in the tire circumference. The opposite end terminates inside the unit. There is the connection narrow groove in width smaller than that of the first and second cut out grooves to connect the both said first and second grooves.

EFFECT: better performances on ice.
