FIELD: radar and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used in radar stations (RS). Technical result is achieved by fact that radar scanning space by means of phased antenna array, electronic scanning on elevation angle and mechanical in azimuthal plane allow uniform distribution of maximum antenna gain by mechanical scanning beam in elevation plane.
EFFECT: technical result is maintaining maximum gain KU radar antenna in wide range of scanning in elevation plane.
