SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to a wound-healing product containing an anti-infective agent, a method for producing the anti-infective wound-care agent, a method for delivering the anti-infective agent, a method for treating an infection, as well as to a method for assessing the anti-infective effectiveness of the wound-healing product. The method for producing the anti-infective wound-care agent involves producing a copper (II) solution and ion-exchange cellulose-based materials. That is followed by contacting a water-soluble ion-exchange cellulose-based material and the prepared solution of copper salt to produce the water-soluble ion-exchange material containing copper ions connected to these materials, wherein total copper contents makes from 0.0001 to 0.0005 wt %.

EFFECT: implementing the invention enables producing the anti-infective product, which provides antibacterial action ensured by gradual release of copper ions when in contact with fluids.
