FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutics and discloses an antiseptic. Antiseptic agent is nanocomposite material of silver in distilled water with size of nanoparticles of 5–50 nm and contains 0.5–25 mg/l of silver nanoclusters and 0.1–10 g/l of sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). To obtain the agent in the liquid state, the CMC concentration is 0.1 to 1.0 g/l. To obtain the agent in the gel state, the CMC concentration is 1.1 to 10 g/l. Agent provides stabilization of properties during storage and increased sedimentation stability, improved adhesion and prolonged antiseptic action when applying the agent on various skin areas and mucous membranes in the form of various forms.
EFFECT: antiseptic agent can be used for treating skin and mucous membranes of eyes, oral cavity, nasopharynx, ear and genitals, and also for use in complex treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory processes of skin and mucous membranes, including after thermal, chemical and solar burns, for treatment of abrasions, scuffs, intertrigo, bedsores and various inflammatory and allergic skin diseases.
