SUBSTANCE: use: for rapid assessment of results of ultrasonic flaw detection. Invention consists in that display apparatus rail flaw detector contains measurement subsystem containing several acoustic units, each of which includes several electroacoustic transducers connected to a multichannel ultrasonic flaw detector, display device of ultrasonic sounding results on display in form of a mnemonic images of rail with acoustic units, opposite to each of which there are marks electroacoustic transducers, contained in corresponding acoustic unit, device for automatic detection of defects on results of ultrasonic probing providing selection on display of marks acoustic units and electroacoustic transducers, detected defect, as well as displaying signals from defects and location of defects on mnemonic image rail.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling displaying visible defects in a controlled product.
