FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: transfer device of storage batteries intended for installation and extraction of accumulator batteries of loading and unloading vehicles includes mobile unit and storage rack. Mobile unit is used for transportation of storage batteries to handling vehicles and from them and comprises cargo gripping structure containing at least one roller, which is used for rolling accumulator batteries into loading and unloading vehicles and for rolling out of accumulator batteries from them. Top wall of accumulator stands has at least one hole, and support of accumulator stands is engaged with surface to hold on storage rack. Storage rack is engaged with movable assembly during movement of accumulator battery, due to introduction of roller (rollers) upwards through the hole (holes) in upper wall of the accumulator stands, so that roller (rollers) can be attached to accumulator battery through hole (holes). Accumulator storage stand enables battery storage, while accumulator battery is out of handler vehicle.

EFFECT: ease of operation is provided.
