FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, particularly to veterinary obstetrics, and can be used for prediction of disturbed embryo development in cows. Ultrasonic scanning of ovaries at 28-32 days of gestation is used to determine diameter of yellow body. For diameter of yellow body of 11-13 mm, delay of embryo development is predicted. For diameter of yellow body of 10 mm or less, embryo death is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables to predict and differentiate disturbed embryogenesis in cows at early stage.
