FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method for preventing embryo mortality and antenatal retardation of developing embryos in dairy cows, involving parenteral administration of a biologically active substance, method is characterized by that bovine recombinant interferon-tau is introduced as a biologically active substance three times on 12th, 14th and 16th days after insemination in dose of 5 ml.
EFFECT: invention provides more effective prevention of embryo mortality and antenatal retardation of developing embryos in dairy cows.
