SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. In compliance with the first version, claimed process consists in the receipt of the data collected by the gauss meter on windshield wiper. Collected data on the wiper are analyzed to generate the weather info based thereon. In compliance with the second version, claimed process consists in the receipt of the data on wipers collected by the mobile devices at the vehicle. Windshield wiper state detector comprises the processor and memory including the computer program code. Said memory and said computer program code are configured to allow the gauss meter to locate the device with the help of computer, to collect the data on the magnetic field and to analyze the data on magnetic field so that wiper state can be defined.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination.
