FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for regulating power consumption of lighting systems. For said purpose, engineering solutions are provided, in which control of power consumption in a system comprising power consuming devices such as lighting devices, can be performed by dividing power consuming devices of system into a plurality of groups and by taking into account power consumption or load shedding or restoration capability for each group. Further, invention implements an auction mechanism for adjusting power consumption or load in lighting system such that an effective, fast, user requirements considering and lighting device functions and characteristics considering adjusting is achieved.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of control of power consumption.
