SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wireless communication method and device. A wireless communication device comprises a processor for assigning a flow identifier to a flow which includes a plurality of packets, wherein the flow identifier includes a portion of a basic service set identifier (BSSID) and a local flow identifier, the portion of the BSSID including the least significant byte of the BSSID; generating a head packet of the plurality of packets; detecting an indication of receipt of the head packet by a device; and generating at least one data packet of the plurality of packets, which includes packet specific information and the flow identifier, and a transmitter designed to transmit the head packet to the device and, in response to the detection by the processor of the indication of receipt of the head packet by the device, transmit at least one data packet to the device.
EFFECT: reduced amount of information transmitted in flow header packets.
