FIELD: communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communications. Access point for the wireless network transmits a group acknowledgment (ACK) to indicate whether the transmission of data (packets) from a plurality of wireless devices were received or decoded correctly within a certain time interval. Each wireless device may have different timeslot associated therewith. Time interval for the wireless device is given as to when the previous ACK group was sent. Group ACK may include bitmap which indicates whether the transmission of data was accepted or properly decoded. Bitmap can be transmitted as part of the beacon.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to improve the efficiency of data transmission in a wireless communication network.
