FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: claimed discharger 1 comprises a tubular case 2, an end fitting 3 connected with one end of the case 2, a varistor unit arranged in the said case and a thrust element 4 located nearby the aforesaid end fitting 3. The said element 4 has a thrust ring 5 abutting on the case 2 and provided with a cone 6 and a pressure ring 7 with a mating cone 8. Note here that the cone 6 is pulled toward the mating cone 8 to lock the thrust ring 5 at the case 2.

EFFECT: higher bending strength, removable thrust element.
