FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an adhesive composition for reinforcing strands of glass fibre. A strand of reinforcing fibre glass contains multiple separate glass fibres coated with adhesive composition. Adhesive composition contains at least one silane binding agent, polyurethane film-forming agent containing blocked isocyanate, secondary film-forming agent and water. Polyurethane film-forming agent containing blocked isocyanate is present in the said adhesive composition in an amount from approximately 25 WT% to approximately 75 WT% (content of solid substances) of the entire solid composition. Secondary film-forming agent is specified in epoxide, polyester, polyvinyl acetate, non-reactive polyurethane and mixtures thereof, and the said secondary film-forming agent is present in the said adhesive composition in amount of 5 WT% to 60 WT% (content of solid substances) of the entire solid composition.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of resistance to abrasion of the fibre.
