FIELD: water industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for aeration of water reservoirs during freezing season. Proposed method comprises injecting atmospheric air under ice, hanging part of ice cover at distance of 5-20 cm from water surface by pumping water from water reservoir to shore or discharge of water through a water discharge device and preparation of several holes for supply of atmospheric air to water surface.
EFFECT: air injection under ice and ice freezing before its hanging reduces temperature of ice and, hence, higher strength, which enables to hang ice without device supports and permanent aeration, reducing time of absence of contact of water with atmospheric oxygen.
