FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for performance of adsorption process in gas/steam-adsorbent system. Vertical adsorber comprises cylindrical housing with conical cover and bottom. In cover has loading hatch, union to feed initial mix with distribution screen, union to discharge vapors and union for safety valve. In middle part of housing on support ring there are beams with supports, support grate, on which layer of gravel is laid. Layer of adsorbent is arranged between gravel layer and screen whereon weights are arranged to prevent adsorbent loss. Used adsorbent is discharged via discharge port. In bottom there is port with union to discharge condensate and water supply. Bubbler has toroidal shape and is fixed on surface of bottom by means of braces. Adsorbent is made in form of perforated cylindrical ring to which side surface two perforated hemispherical surfaces are attached. Space between side of inner surface of ring and two hemispherical surfaces is filled with additional inert elements in form of balls, which diameters are larger than diameter of perforation of ring and hemispherical surfaces.

EFFECT: technical result is upgraded degree of gas flow cleaning of target component and dust due to increased area of contact of adsorbent with target component.
